Amazing Bug Projects

On Friday and Monday the children in Room 11 bought their amazing Bug Projects to school to share with the class. Everyone had worked so hard on them, they were very impresssive. We had booklets and posters and powerpoint presentations and the children had worked very hard on their own bug. We all learnt heaps of new information about bees, praying mantis, ladybirds, termites, stick insects, ants and tarantulas! Have a look at how cool they are and some of them are on our walls brightening up our walls.

Alice did her project on honeybees

and Mia did too. We love her stuffed bee she made for the Wanaka A&P show.

William's project was an interesting booklet on termites.

Emma made a booklet about stick insects

and Lucy made a poster about the Praying Mantis.

Tane found out heaps of information about creepy crawly cockroaches:

and  Charli knows everything there is to know about dragonflies.

Look at Liam's awesome ladybird poster! It was so big it took up two big pieces of cardboard!

Angelica made a very informative poster about ladybirds too.

Natasha made a beautiful booklet all about ladybirds. Look at the interesting cover!
Here is Luca's interesting powerpoint presentation on ants.
Amanda did an awesome power point on taratulas too.
